Today 3.1.10

Today we took the kids to the mall to get them out of the house, read to them a few book and let them play at the B & N train set. Avery especially loves Thomas. I am so unsure of how this became an interest of his but he even got a Thomas The Train book today that he wanted to read. And when it came his turn to play with the set he ran over there and did not want to leave.

Read a few good books today with them. One about germs, one about something else I forget right now. But really liked one that Jayne picked called Our Children Can Soar. Amazing illustrations! This book is basically an old baptist preacher’s whoop. Our ancestor fought so George could invent, George invented so Jesse could sprint…and so on till it gets to, Barack ran so our children could soar! Excellent book I would get it for the illustrations alone.
